Primary Chords Exercise - Key Of B Major - G# Minor
To begin the exercise in the keys of B Major - G# Minor:
- Practice positioning your fingers on the guitar based on the diagrams provided below. Practice by holding the chord and strumming.
- B Major ( Triad: B E F#7 )
- Once you are comfortable with the first chord, move on to the the other chords, until you have completed all of the chords (Major and Minor).
- G# Minor: G#m - C#m - D#7 (Relative Minor)
- Now play one chord and move to the next chord in sequence, strumming after each chord.
- B Major ( Triad: B E F#7 ) - G# Minor: G#m - C#m - D#7 (Relative Minor)
- Continue the sequence until you have memorized the position of each chord.
- Move to the Next Key and repeat the process.
